Spin and Learn - Counting

Make counting practice fun with this simple, hands-on activity using an empty toilet roll tube!

Print and cut out the two strips. Glue the inner strip directly around the toilet roll tube, then wrap the outer sleeve loosely around the top, gluing only the tab so that it can spin.

Children can turn the sleeve to reveal each picture through the window, count the objects and say how many they can see.

A fun and interactive way to practise counting, number recognition and early maths skills at home.

You will need:

• An empty toilet roll tube

• Scissors

• Glue
